Frequently asked

Questions people ask

What exactly is a "void-of-course Moon"?
It's the stretch after the Moon makes its last major aspect in a sign and before it moves into the next one. In classical astrology it's the Moon that has "finished its business and is waiting at the door". It isn't a warning but an invitation: hours better suited to finishing than starting, to reading rather than signing. The window is calculated to the minute, not estimated.
I don't know my birth time. Can I still use it?
Yes. The calendar, the cycle timeline and the void-of-course windows work fully without any birth details. It's the same sky for everyone. Without your birth time your natal Moon sign is usually still known; if it can't be, you're told so plainly instead of a guess. Your progressed Moon is sensitive to the time, so it's never shown without one. We'd rather give no date than a wrong one.
What is the progressed Moon, and why does it matter?
It's worked out with a classical method that counts each day after your birth as one year. The progressed Moon changes sign about every 2.5 years and comes full circle in 27–28 years. So it shows which "chapter" of your life you're in: why the last couple of years have felt the way they have, and why the chapter before felt so different.
Should I worry if an eclipse comes up?
No. On this page an eclipse is treated not as a frightening sign but as an accelerator: a time when what's already underway speeds up. Your readings describe it that way too, never in the language of bad luck.
Is this real astronomy, or made up?
The Moon's position, its phase, the moment it changes sign, the New and Full Moon dates and the eclipses are all calculated in code from real astronomical data. AI doesn't produce these numbers. It only puts the calculated result into Lina's words. Nothing that isn't in the calculation ever appears in the text.
How is it different from Rituals?
Moon Cycles answers "where am I?": a calendar, where things stand and a short note, every day. Rituals answers "what should I do?": a ritual written for you at each New Moon and Full Moon, once per cycle. Moon Cycles is on Plus, Rituals on Pro.
